Sniper135 Clutch Convertion(from AC to HC)

heres how i converted my AC sniper to HC sniper...(with the use of genuine yamaha parts)

list of parts that are needed for the convertion:

clutch lever holder with lever(your choice the cheapest is YRS) in my case i used genuine yamaha for YAMAHA Sniper
overhauling gasket
and ofcourse lots of hard work....

first thing were gonna do is overhaul the engine..

replace 1S7–E7411–00 AXLE, MAIN (12T)
with this 2S6–E7411–00 AXLE, MAIN because the main axle of AC is longer than the Hc.. after that your good.. assemble

the engine..lots of hardwork for a single spare part, well since its opened replace bearings, o-rings, oil seals etc. etc..( hehehehe)

now mods starts here in your 2S4–E1570–00 FLYWHEEL ASSY
i bought a metal about 2.5kilos and must be round and thickness maximum of 1.5inch then with the help of machine shop,

here it is...(dont mind those holes.. they are design for easy pull out of the flywheel..

make sure that 1S7–E6512–00 BOSS, CLUTCH HOUSING will fit the hole in the center of the fabricated flywheel, and welded

at the back so it will spin together with the flywheel and for added safety and fabricated lock for the 2S4–E6111–00 GEAR,

PRIMARY DRIVE something like this

this may look something thats not that strong or should i say weak for an engine mod.. well it has been tested... tested for how durable this may be? weve rode entire mindanao on this.. Mindanao Ride 2009!

and fabricate a washer that will fill the gap of the 1S7–E6116–00 COLLAR 1
to the 2S4–E6111–00 GEAR, PRIMARY DRIVE
now it looks something like this if assembled

and placed inside the crank case this is how it will look now

bore out this section here so it the nut will fit the cover

this nut must not hit the cover

were almost done!!!!

one more thing we also need to remove this one...
5LM–E8173–00 PIN, SHIFT

i think thats about it...

now im running on HC...

enjoy modding... hehehe

well if you need the parts catalog and the complete manual for yamaha bikes like sniper,mio,cryptonZ,nouvo.. i gotz them...

Cagayan de Oro City to Tacloban City

Just want to share our ride last year October 2008, Onboard our Yamaha's. This ride was a well planned ride we prepared 3months ahead of the ride, from rider to engine mods. Final Check just few days before the ride.(October 27,28,29,30)

Change oil

Cleaned the brakes and changed bearings

CDO-TACLOBAN-SAMAR ride!!!!!
2:50am STAR MART GUSA CDO we left @ exactly 3am

We arrived at Gingoog City around 4am and had to wait for few minutes for the gas station to open.
5:05am GAS UP @ SHELL GINGOOG

headed straight to butuan.. another gas up at Butuan City
6:25am GAS UP @ SHELL BUTUAN

after butuan we stopped over at Kitcharao for a few minute rest,
7:27am STOP OVER @ KITCHARAO(on the way to SURIGAO)

Finally we arrived at lipata terminal in Surigao City, this is where you get on the RORO from Surigao to Souther Leyte,
9:10am ARRIVAL @ LIPATA TERMINAL(Surigao City)

sad to say our informant was wrong, we were way to fast or yet in a hurry for a 9am trip and no 9am trip for Surigao to leyte, so we had to stay for a few hours, we have to wait until 2:30pm for the next RORO so we head down town Surigao or should I say Surigao Market to get a taste of the Sea Foods there. took a couple of pics in a bridge near the market, nice view...

after a couple of pictures we head back to the port, and just around 2:30pm arriving at the peir.. here she comes!

now she opens wide.. lets ride!

its a 3hour RORO ride to Southern Leyte from Surigao! the RORO left around 3pm, 5:30pm we are almost at southern leyte!

We got off the RORO around 6pm, had Dinner on a Carenderia near the peir, no pics were taken for we are in a hurry we really had to stick to plan and was running short of time, after dinner we head straight to Tacloban City we left Southern Leyte at 6:30pm, Sad to say we got lost about 30kms from the planned route, so we had to go back and was almost 8pm, places like this doesnt have 24hours gas station almost all of their gas station close by 8pm, so we had to buy plastic bottles and fill it up with gas, we knew 1 full tank would not reach Tacloban, just incase we get lost again. finally we were on the right track on our way to Tacloban Via Mahaplag where they say its a place where most motorcycle riders get stick ups or bike napped during night times, the road condition in mahaplag was not that good and speeding was not a good idea but due to the pressure and possible risk in the area we had to speed up then bad luck strikes! 1 bike wasnt able to get away from a deep pot hole in the right lane, tubeless tire got torn so we had to stop and install tubes in it.. it was almost 10pm no lights on the road side, we only had the headlights of our bikes good thing we fixed the problem! finally arriving at Tacloban City and found a Pension House it was Clean and Well maintaned, checked in a sleeping time!

day 2 of our ride! woke up early took a bath then check our bikes!

took a pic just outside the reception area in Rosevenil Pensione cause were on our way to Mcarthur Shrine!

Finally at Mcarthur Shrine! yehey!

with our bikes, behind us is the Shrine

we had lunch at a small carenderia near McArthur Shrine, Good Local Food baby!

relaxed for a few minutes and again hit the road and head on to leyte via the famous SAN JUANICO bridge! longest bridge? nice!

a pic of our bikes just before going over the bridge for the very first time!

still cant beleive that our bikes reached Samar!

after crossing San Juanico Bridge we head to Southern Samar for a rest or should I say dip on the Pacific waters! a stop over after few kilometers of non stop winding roads! enjoyed the twisties of Samar!

arriving at a beach in Southern Samar! open sea I guess!

after the beach we returned back to Tacloban, slept and got ready for the next day!
day3 of the ride home going!

day3 of the ride! a meet up with a online friend, he took us to some of Tacloban's City Land Marks.

after few pics and a very nice lunch, checked our bikes before leaving Tacloban City and its about 3pm, we left Tacloban City at exactly 3pm

We arrived at southern Leyte around 7pm and head dinner at the peir, board the RORO around 8pm and reached Surigao City around 12midnight here a picture of our bike aboard the RORO

1am at Surigao City Gas station, the Group decided to Push thru despite the Weather condition, it was raining at Surigao City, and 1am with rain will be very cold on the road, but hey we wore our rain coats and pushed thru as what the group decided.
again bad luck strike 1 bike got puncture along the way, tire got flat 3am in kitcharao so again we have to fix it, pretty tired cause we are almost 24hours on the raod, tire got fix around 4am and head straight to Butuan City, arrived at Butuan City for gas and had 6am breakfast at jollibee.

no more pics were taken, everyone was too tired to pull out their cameras and took pic. we arrived at Cagayan de Oro City at 11:45am... what a ride!
